Fleece Inn, The Description

A seventeenth century village pub two miles north of Ilkley on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

The menu has a rustic flair including the popular meat and potato pie, slowly roasted Old Spot belly pork, wild sea bass with wine and mushroom sauce, and Whitby haddock and chips.

A fine range of puddings is also available, including bread and butter brulee and chocolate marquise.

Rustic but classy.

We regularly visit this gourmet pub and although it is not cheap, it is fantastic. Favourites are the fillet steak, which is the best around and the mustard glazed belly pork, but to be honest anything is recommended. Being a pub it also has some nice beers. Most of the members of staff are great with rare exceptions, who even then are definitely worth it.
