Four Stones Restaurant, The Description

The Four Stones Restaurant is situated in a hamlet on the foot of Clent Hills and has a splendid backdrop of trees and rolling hills to it. A warm and friendly ambiance welcomes you as you enter the cottage, with a patio in front and a conservatory in one corner. The cosy bar with an open fireplace leads to a modest yet appealing and spacious dining area.

A range of Mediterranean dishes feature on a well devised menu whilst influences from British cooking are also apparent. Start with a medley of wild and field mushrooms sautéed with smoked bacon and shallots or a chicken liver pâté flavoured with masala, wine and brandy. Inventive touches creep in and results into the likes of homemade lasagne, topped with a rich tomato sauce and char-grilled rib eye steak set in a mixed peppercorn, mushroom and cream sauce. You could either conclude with a coffee or choose a dessert from the menu.

Your Reviews of Four Stones Restaurant, The

Sarah (27 May 2009)

My friend and I had a meal at The Four Stones in May 09. The food and the service were excellent and I have recommended it to anyone who will listen - can't wait to go back.

Pam & Dave (4 August 2008)

We had a lovely meal and excellent service. We had our wedding reception at The Four Stones back in 2001 and the service is just as good as it was then. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
