Like quite a few of the restaurants in Brighton you'll have to keep your wits about you to locate this one, but once there it's all worthwhile. The comfortable, yellow interior gives a laid-back, sunny French air, while the modern tables and chairs ensure the restaurant is thoroughly up to date in feel. There is a blackboard daily option for the fresh fish, you could expect such delights as home-made parfait of fois gras with shallot confiture and brioche or quail ravioli with spinach mousse and mustard sauce, before continuing with stuffed confit of duck with mushrooms, mashed potato, spinach and veal sauce. The wine list is mainly under £20.00.
