The pub at Starbottom is beautifully located the menu is good and the food well presented and delicious. However, our whole experience was ruined by disdain towards tourists, and un-spirited service that was grudgingly given, and in our case verged on rudeness. It is a real pity that the family run, cosy pub does not offer the warm welcome and cheerful service that could make it into a highlight.
