Frankie's Italian Bar & Grill - Knightsbridge Description
In recent years this restaurant has undergone more changes than a Pantomime Dame, however, hopefully it has now settled down to a concept that should work, as it has been resurrected as an upmarket pizza restaurant.
The Frankie in the name is Frankie Dettori, the leading British jockey, who was born in Italy, but the inspiration behind the place is still the ubiquitous Marco Pierre White, so expect pizzas with a difference, perfectly thin and with inventive, tasty toppings.
Only time will tell!

We went to Frankie's for a reunion. It was the perfect venue with polite staff and reasonably priced good food. The music was, at times, a little too loud but probably not everyone has thirty years of news to catch up on. I think the toilets need a makeover - this was our only disappointment and we hope it will be rectified soon.

The food was very good. I had a party of twelve there for lunch. The service and price were excellent too.
