Freddy's Restaurant Bar & Grill Description

Freddy's Restaurant Bar and Grill in Harrow specialises in Mediterranean cuisine and serves their freshly prepared fare in a stylish setting. Potted plants, a bright and spacious interior and dark leather chairs help create the right kind of effect, that of laidback leisure and luxury. This is just the place to head to if you need to unwind after your days work or even if you want to meet up friends over a tasty lunch. Even if there's no reason, don't hesitate because their delicious food is an indulgence, albeit a healthy one.

Their range of starters includes a crab ball served with sour cream or a bruschetta on a ciabatta with olive oil, garlic, tomato, olives and basil. For the main course, there's a salmon steak with mixed vegetables and potatoes or you could even opt for pizzas and pastas. There's an interesting selection of classic cocktails, spirits, liqueurs, beers and wines from the bar.

We had a birthday party at Freddy's. My main course was a piri-piri chicken, tender and very tasty. Others had a burger and the sea bass was extraordinary. We had a great time and will definitely recommend it for parties.

I attended Freddy's Bar for a works Christmas meal. However I must admit my experience at Freddy's was somewhat disappointing. I felt the food was a bit of a let down. All the portions were very small. The main course was listed as steak when in fact it was no where near its description. It was just a thin piece of beef. There were hardly any vegetables, about two small potatoes in total. For dessert I had Christmas pudding, which was so small it fitted on a spoon in one go with still room to spare. When you couple this with the fact that the meal was £22 a head without drinks, which is high anyway, the whole thing does not offer any real value for money. I won't be going again, nor recommend them.
