Fredericks Restaurant Description
Frederick's has been established for a good 30 years now, under the attentive ownership of Lou Segal, a popular figure in the catering world, and boasts a particularly unusual feature - a licence to conduct marriage ceremonies! For many years it has been renowned as one of the better places in North London, and has maintained a consistently high standard.
Signature dishes include honey and black pepper roasted breast of duck, French beans and garlic cream served on rosti, while vegetarian options include wild mushroom ravioli with artichoke, fromage blanc and truffles, and their timeless desserts like rhubarb crumble or Bakewell tart go down a treat with their clientele.
The restaurant itself is elegant, but effuses a contemporary feel. The huge conservatory adds to the atmosphere, which aims to convey fine dining in a sophisticated environment, and they also have private rooms available.

We booked for 6.15 prior to Swan Lake at Sadler's Well, but did not manage to arrive until 6.40 pm, so only had time for a main course. The staff were as helpful as possible, even checking with the kitchen as to how long it would be before the dish we had chosen - we both chose a fish dish - was on the table for us. I have been to Frederick's before but it was my lady friend's first visit. She loved the ambience, the food, the wine and the service. Thank you, Frederick's.

This remains tip top - helpful admin, good service, good atmosphere, good food and wine. Just as fine now as over thirty years ago when I first started going.
