There's more to The Free State Brewing Co than just a place where good handcrafted beer is available and although they are the first legal brewery in Kansas in over 100 years, it's interesting to note the different avatars donned by them with ease. While their 14 barrel brew house has some of the best equipment for small scale brewers, their kitchens are no less passionate when it comes to turning out delicious fare, be it in the form of tasty sandwiches, soups or daily specials.

Their signature hot and creamy artichoke dip is served with Parmesan beer bread and is an excellent appetizer which satisfactorily makes way for the turkey bacon focaccia, grilled corn beef reuben or the golden grilled chicken. Don't miss the specials such as shrimp fettuccine, chicken flautas and black bean quesadillas while the range of desserts is inspiring and forms the perfect end to the meal. As might be expected ales and beers are the perfect accompaniments to the meal.
