We recently spent a marvellous ten days in the area local to Chulmleigh recently and were fortunate to find this wonderful restaurant. As a couple of 'foodies' my wife and I are used to eating out frequently around London and so we were pleasantly surprised to find such a varied and imaginative menu on offer. We have never encountered Burmese curries in London before and were amazed to find them here. The homemade food was delicious and the service was warm and personal. By the end of the evening of our first visit, we felt less like restaurant goers and more like guests at a dinner party in the company of old friends. We visited several more times during our stay for breakfasts and lunches and will certainly be back on our next trip. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

We have eaten at Frenchs' several times now and I can honestly say that the food is always excellent. The menu is interesting and varied, the food beautifully prepared and presented. The wine list is very good and the service exceptionally friendly, nothing is too much trouble. A nice, friendly restaurant with superb food.
