I have just read the unhappy comment from 2008. I would just like to say that I am the most difficult person to please and I think this bistro is fantastic. I can only assume teething problems lead to the ladies comments. For anyone else you cannot go to Ullapool and not visit the Frigate. The coffee, food and cakes are excellent. Some people say it is pricey, I say you pay for quality. The staff are incredibly friendly too, keep up the good work.

I recently went to The Frigate Cafe and had the most wonderful take away pizza. I phoned up and ordered the pizza and it was ready for me to collect within 15 minutes: piping hot and very authentic, handmade pizzas by the chefs on the premises. Many congrats to The Frigate for such an enterprising new idea, just what Ullapool needs. Their new menu seemed very popular too, judging by the number of people who were there when I arrived. The pasta looked delicious, I'll be back.
