Galileo's Locanda Toscana is a restaurant that pays tribute to the pioneering spirit of its namesake, by rebelling against the bland, branded formula of most of the Italian restaurants in London's theatre land to offer a unique, authentically Tuscan, good quality culinary experience. The combination of its native Tuscan dishes, friendly, attentive service and an ideal location in the midst of the theatre district makes Galileo's a useful destination restaurant.
Galileo's Head Chef, Silvano Mazzoli, adheres to the fundamental principle of his native Tuscan cuisine; that dishes are simple, fresh and seasonal, using only the finest quality ingredients whose flavours are enhanced with accompaniments such as olive oil and fresh herbs rather than masked with heavy or complicated sauces. He is always introducing new ideas to keep Galileo's offering in line with today's Tuscan culinary fashions, and has worked alongside some of the top chefs in the world including the renowned Adrian Ferran at El Bulli - Catalunya (Spain) and Franco Taruschio at The Walnut Tree in Abergavenny.

PRO - Friendly service
Very prompt serving of food
Good quality food
Reasonable price
Even placed a rose on the table (which I requested when I booked in advance. It was a Valentine weekend extra)
