I have been eating at this restaurant since 1982. The family, particularly James, are so friendly and welcoming and the place is clean. Lovely food, whether British or lovely Italian pasta at very reasonable prices, and their cucumber sandwiches are out of this world. Go there. You won't be disappointed.

I had lunch at Gambardella Café on a Saturday with my sister and niece. The food was great, service good and the staff make you feel welcome. My sister and I had coffee while my niece enjoyed her chocolate milkshake. The decor is lovely too and the place is a must visit if you are around Blackheath.
