Garrack Restaurant Description
Situated on a quiet hill top location with thirty miles of stunning coastal views stands The Garrack surrounded most unusually for St Ives by that scarcest of commodities in Cornwall, onsite parking. In summer it is a welcome haven, away from the bustle of a popular tourist town and an ideal base to explore the area. In winter, it is a cosy retreat, with log fires, and a country house charm, reminiscent of the gentleman's residence that it once was.
Garrack Restaurant has been awarded an AA Rosette and serves modern English food using Cornish produce whenever possible. So expect to find tian of Newlyn crabmeat, classic gezpatcho, crème fraiche and homemade herb bread, or pan-fried fillet of Penwith organic beef with caramelised potatoes, shallots, black pudding and tarragon jus. They have an extensive wine list, priced with a fixed mark-up, which offers exceptional value for the better quality wines.
