I brought a few friends there a while back after having a wild night; I don’t think we left there until the blackbirds were singing in the daylight! Rack of lamb was on the menu as usual but that came later after a few bottles of wine served by Cheryl and Jack, who seem to run the place (he's an ex-fence apparently). The place is stuffed with antiques and has a huge mirror on the wall, which actually I tried to walk into as an adjoining room! Anyway I could go on as it is an eccentric place, plenty of frolics when I went to pay at about four in the morning, Cheryl knocked all the stuff off the counter to find my bill, didn’t find it and said it was ten pounds!! I gave her twenty and she gave me ten back! Oh, and the food, I can’t remember?!
