From a regularly changing menu, starters could include chicken, bacon and wild mushroom pie followed by a main course of roasted leg of lamb served with dauphinoise potato and gravy. For dessert, there's a warm dark chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream or a selection of cheeses and biscuits. I am well over pension age and have never had such a good Christmas lunch outside home as I had with a big group of friends yesterday at Gemini. I had not preordered as there was doubt about my getting there and do not eat meat. The staff and chef went to great efforts to make sure I had a great alternative. Everything was well cooked and beautifully presented. Although it is a bit out of the way for me, I will make a point of going there again.

This excellent restaurant delivers time after time. The set menu is first rate and incredible value, with something for all tastes. The a la carte menu has a wide range too. It is modern European with a British slant and beautifully served. The desserts are heavenly, and the service too is spot on; friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. It was a special evening at every day prices.
