Fantastic pub, on both the beer and the food fronts. I know at one time, it claimed to be the only vegetarian society-approved pub in the UK. Plus I get a 25% discount as a member of Animal Aid. I have eaten there maybe 20 times over the years and have never had an issue with the food, other than getting over the novelty of being able to eat everything on the menu and therefore having to make a choice. Long may it prosper!

Well, I've had many a fun night in this bar. It's big, has a nice garden and big tables so it’s a good place to bring people if you fancy an impromptu party.

In fact it's all fine except the food. This is overpriced and very average vegetarian fair. I've eaten there about three times and each time swear it'll be the last. I never send food back to the Kitchen normally but have done so once myself and had a friend who did the same, in both cases because the food was not as advertised and pretty awful. Nothing much better came back from the kitchen.

The pub itself is nice and fun so sort out the grub!
