George Inn, The Description

The George Inn is one of the capital's most attractive pubs. Owned by The National Trust, it is the only surviving galleried coaching inn in London. Not only is the George Inn a great place to enjoy a drink or two in one of their many bar areas, or the popular outside drinking area, but the food here is pretty good too. On the menu you'll find traditional pub fare such as steak, mushroom and Guinness pie, sausage and mash, roast sirloin of beef and roasted vegetable lasagne. Most mains are priced at £8.95 whilst an excellent cheese platter will set you back £7.95.
