Many restaurants come and go, but George's is still around after 75 years. The original building, consisting of the bar area with a small kitchen in the back, began in 1930's as Harry B's. George Etros bought this place in 1967 and renamed it after his name. It was at this time that their most popular drink, the "Big OTM" received its name. In 1992 Sammy A Citrano III with the help of the staff took over the little bar and expanded its history and fame.

Chicken fried steak with baked potato casserole green beans and chuckwagon corn, fried catfish macaroni and cheese with black eye peas and fried okra, beef tips with rice, broccoli and sweet baby carrots feature often on the menu. If you are feeling more adventurous you could try pot roast or meatloaf with scalloped potatoes, or fried pork chop with green beans.
