Your Reviews of Georgetown - Leeds

Min (19 March 2008)

I treated my boyfriend to a celebratory meal there. The decor was very different and the colonial setting looked stunning. With the live piano playing, it didn't feel particularly romantic due to bright lighting. The service was good and the menu was well laid out defining different styles of Malaysian cuisine, which you could mix and match. I was disappointed with my meal but my boyfriend had better luck. My starter had a main ingredient missing, on complaining I was promptly served in a little dish on the side. The meals were edible and didn't really justify the price, although the wine was lovely. We didn't stay to try dessert.

Stan (16 March 2008)

I had a very pleasant time there. I liked the decor; the service was nice, with the waiters not too clingy but served you quickly and competently. The food was very good and I can honestly say I have never eaten anything like it before. I was pleasantly surprised about the price too, and I would recommend it.
