Georgetown, the restaurant at Colwick Hall Hotel, nestles in a historical building with impressive Palladian style architecture and is surrounded by over sixty acres of parkland. The restaurant is described as the first Malaysian one in the UK, and is appropriately decorated in shades of green, a stark contrast to the wooden furniture. There are fine wines and liqueurs to complement your meal and the Singapore sling, a combination of dry gin, warm and spicy cherry, tangy lemon juice, a drop of grenadine and Benedictine floated on the ice is a much loved cocktail at Georgetown. You can also choose Palena Sauvignon blanc or Castillo de Clavijo Rioja Crianza to add charm to your dinner. You can round off your meal with a glass of dessert wine, select from the cheese platter or enjoy a tropical fruit salad with a touch of Amaretto.
