Gifto's Lahore Karahi

The restaurant is excellent. We were a party of four and had a great time there. It was very busy, and we soaked in the atmosphere. We had a mix grill for starters with Peshawar nan, which was amazingly delicious. I have never had meat so tender that it melted in your mouth, and it was really well seasoned and spiced. The nan was soft, and had pistachios and other wonderful things on it, making it perfectly unique, and mouth watering. We moved on to the main course, karahi chicken, and karahi gosh, tarka dhal, and jeera chicken. These were true Pakistani curries at their best. The meats were all well infused in the curry with a rich aroma. That was the best dhal I have ever tasted. We moved on to the desserts, though by now, there was really not much space left in our stomachs, but the falooda that was being served to the other tables looked too good to miss. It turned out to be the best falooda I have ever tasted. The service was grand, and very attentive. This restaurant is the modern equivalent of a Pakistani restaurant.

Excellent food, this was the best meal I have had in a while. It tasted home cooked and nothing was left over. The service was good, it was a busy place but had no problems in placing orders - something I always look into when I go out for meals. There's a buzzing atmosphere and I was not rushed to leave and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys good food.
