Ginza Description

Ginza specialises in the Japanese form of cooking known as Teppan-Yaki. This means that the food is cooked in front of the customers on metal tables with heat beneath. It is all slightly ritualistic, as many things in Japan are, but it's also very community-based, friendly and towards the end informal. Traditional dishes such as sushi and sashimi are served alongside the cooked food and the convivial air is encouraged by the fact that everyone sits round a large square table to eat.

It’s fantastic every time we go. Go for the Ginza set menu with scallops, lobster, chicken and beef, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended; I’ve been going for over 10 years and never had a bad meal.

We have been to Ginza many times over several years, at least eight years. We live near Leeds and have the family in Coventry so it’s a convenient central meeting point. The food is very good and the show that the chefs put up is great. It’s highly recommended.
