It wouldn't be fair to have published the previous review without also publishing the response from the restaurant. To be fair, I can't be 100% sure this came from the restaurant, but I was contacted by someone claiming to be from Giuseppe's following the review. As you can see, nice attitude to customer service!

This is what it said:

You are talking utter s..t!! We don't have a no smoking area! I think you had better check which restaurant you visited before allowing slanderous comments to be aired! Fillet? What f…ing fillet? We haven't had an order for a blue fillet since July and it wasn't you mate!

I do hope your details are held by this website as our solicitors are looking into this as it is absolute bulls..t, do you realise you can be sued for our loss of earnings. We have full cctv of the restaurant and would like to enquire on which night you visited, how many people were in your party, where you sat, and a description of who served you. I don't expect a reply though cos you never had that experience at our restaurant. Reply if you have the b...s!

In response to Simon Perry’s 'review' may I state that this experience is impossible. There has not been a order for a blue steak since July and we know who that person is, she is a regular, also we do not have a no smoking area. I have asked this person to respond directly to the above comments, I doubt very much he will. Sabotage is simply the answer. Many thanks.

Editor: In the interests of fairness, we have also published, with the swear words removed, Giuseppe’s actual reply to Simon Perry, which he was kind enough to send us.
