Glistening Waters Description

The delightfully named Glistening Waters is a pleasant Caribbean restaurant in Brentford, located by the Thames and is close to such famed landmarks as the Kew Gardens and Syon Park. Authenticity of their cuisine is never in question although they must be lauded for their fresh and modern approach that doesn't detract from well loved traditional elements. This stylish eatery offers a variety of dishes with just the right touch of exotic herbs and spices and the friendly atmosphere is conducive for a celebration or even a business meeting.

The daily changing menu is inspiring and could include the likes of fried plantain rounds filled with callaloo and ackee followed by a main course of tilapia fillets stuffed with vegetables and served with its own jus and okra. End with the tropical sweet potato pudding served with rum and raisin ice cream and choose from the wide range of wines to complement your meal.

The food is stunning. The owner makes the best goat curry in the world! The service is wonderful and the ambience just as you would expect of a Caribbean restaurant. A great evening which we repeat on a regular basis.
