Goodfellows Description
Goodfellows, situated in Wells city centre near the market place, is a seafood restaurant serving - in the main - fish caught locally near Brixham.
Next door is the patisserie and Sadler Street Cafe, offering homemade croissant and Danish for breakfast; soups, sandwiches and beautifully presented dishes for lunch, and, in the evening, a recently started concept of traditional French brasserie dishes, such as cassoulet and bouillabaisse. The patisserie makes all its own breads, cakes and chocolates; these are also available to take away.

I have been to Goodfellows many times and have just booked to go again! It is my favourite place to dine in the South East, closely followed by 'Dlute De Paris'. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly!

Absolutely divine cooking to die for - and if you go to heaven you'll be lucky to find such great food.
A brilliant husband and wife team run Goodfellows. The quality of the bread, cakes and desserts show the native French influence. I guess these were the tastes that everyone was overwhelmed with in the film "Chocolat".
The best restaurant in the West of England ! And must be one of the very best places in England for fish.
P.S. Wines and service great too.
