REVIEWS OF Grace
Theatregoer (31 May 2007)
Sugar Reef was a gem of a find for a mid week pre theatre meal. Happy Hour on drinks 5-7 pm. Food was beautifully presented and good. Portions not so huge that you couldn't enjoy them all but plenty to satisfy. Staff attentive. A great value restaurant centrally located in the heart of Theatreland.
Kate Ravenscroft (3 October 2004)
Did not eat in the restaurant, but did have the misfortune to celebrate a friend's birthday with food and drinks in the bar downstairs.
The bar food is overpriced for what you get - portions were fairly small and lukewarm, the food itself was fairly average. The wine was likewise average. But we had a fun time for most of the night anyway.
What spoilt the evening overall was the bar's decision to close at 12.30 rather than 1 as advertised, and to rudely and aggressively demand that all customers left immediately, without finishing their drinks. We have reported the door staff's subsequent actions to both the police and Westminster council.
Avoid this venue unless you wish to be treated quite literally like a refuse sack.

Nando's - Glass House Street
With quality food, friendly staff, quick service and excellent value for money, Nando's is a great place to eat. Don't expect identikit, pre-fab restaurant interiors which are usually a staple of the larger chains; each restaurant is tailored to its local surroundings and customers, offering up a unique restaurant experience to go with the equally unique taste of legendary, Portuguese, Peri-Peri chicken.
