Having eaten at The Granville on three occasions now, I thought I'd give you my thoughts on it. Every meal we've had has been of a very good quality - we always come away full and happy (groaning in some instances!), and will no doubt visit again soon. A special mention has to be made of the delicious bread and pumpkin seeds served up. Slight niggles - I'd far rather go and sit at my table straight away and look through a menu, instead of having pick from a blackboard and ordering at the bar. The staff yesterday were relaxed to the point of sloppiness (both in appearance and service)- quite endearing as we were only there for a casual lunch, but I imagine this might be a bit offputting for anyone visiting as a special occasion, as it's not cheap by any means. I sound a bit mean spirited now - these are just minor points, but something for the staff to possibly think on. go for the food - you'll be glad you did.

My wife and I had an excellent lunch at the Granville yesterday. We both had fish dishes which were top notch. They have very good quality food, good wine list and an attentive and knowledgeable waiting staff. Overall it was a very enjoyable and reasonably priced meal. We hope to return again soon.
