Tucked away on Artillery Row, an atmospheric Victorian alley close to Liverpool Street station, Grapeshots is one of Davy's traditional wine bars and serves as the perfect antidote to the hustle and bustle of the City. Named after the cluster of small iron balls formerly used as cannon charge, Grapeshots' full bar and dining room menus are available all day and offer traditional English fare in a cosy setting.

Selections include tasty starters such as chicken liver pâté or a plate of Scottish oak smoked salmon while main courses include steak and kidney pie and beer battered Pollock with hand cut chips. The cloying sweetness of a treacle tart tops the comfort food experience. Meals can be accompanied by drinks from an extensive wine list, starting with Davy's ever excellent house wines which include a crisp and clean Pinot Grigio, a fruity Sauvignon Blanc and a rich Merlot.
