Graze Bar & Chophouse

63 Queen Square, Bristol, BS1 4JZ

New York meets London in Graze Bar and Chophouse in Queen Square in the heart of Bristol. Lavish interiors with high quality bespoke furniture, creative lighting schemes and some quirky design cues offer guests an informal yet stylish venue for a quick lunch or leisurely dinner from an excellent modern British and European menu. As can well be expected, meat is central to the food theme. The well organised menu is designed in such a way to allow you to eat anything from a light lunch or snack such as mushrooms and kidneys on toast, to a three or four-course meal with fine wines. To start with, choices of ham and parsley terrine with piccalilli, fish soup and oysters and 'angels on horseback' get the meal going, or if you wish to share there's the charcuterie platter with house cured meats, pickled quail's eggs, pickled vegetables and chutney, and the ploughman's.

Mains include pork chop with braised pork belly and black pudding sauce, fillet of hake with new potatoes and spinach and roast partridge with braised lentils and glazed turnips. A selection of steaks offers more substantial fare. Seafood options include Bigbury Bay oysters and steamed mussels. For a light lunch you can choose from a variety of sandwiches and salads. Desserts of buttermilk pannacotta, ginger and lemon cheesecake and honey roast peaches round off the meal nicely.

Graze serves Bath Ales beers along with an eclectic range of continental beers, premium spirits, fine wines and soft drinks.
