Greenhouse, The

Four of us, two vegetarians and two non-vegetarians, enjoyed a delicious meal there on Saturday evening. The sheer variety of choice available was incredible, and everything we had was delicious, in good quantity and hot enough. The desserts were a real highlight in the context of a thoroughly delicious meal, and the owner who looked after us was incredibly friendly and charming. This was the most fun meal out I have had in a long time, the sloe wine may have contributed to that, and it was excellent value for money.

I have been a vegetarian for 9 yrs now. I understand and have experienced the problems that come with making such an important life decision. I discovered The Greenhouse Restaurant about 8 yrs ago and have been going there 5/6 times a year since. Robin the owner is a lovely person and an excellent host. He takes great pride in the food he produces and the menu is both extensive and varied. He has created a friendly and relaxed atmosphere within the Restaurant that makes you want to take your time with your meal. It is definitely not somewhere to go for a quick bite but is somewhere to make the most of a good evening out to. Highly recommended to all who enjoy good food in a relaxed atmosphere.
