Located in the pillared halls of the original Lloyds Bank building, Green's Restaurant and Oyster Bar, after its phenomenal success at its St. James's site, has now opened at Cornhill in its own unique style. It has a splendid architecture marked by Corinthian columns and lofty ceilings along with a grand staircase that leads to the mezzanine floor occupied by three elegant dining rooms with spacious seating booths and a stylish bar. Seasonal pickings define the menu and the likes of potted shrimps, chicken and duck liver parfait and pressed ham hock terrine feature. Amongst mains open lasagne of Totnes brie with spiced English grapes and mushrooms and wild halibut steak are both well worth your while.

I have eaten at Green's now a good few times, and every time what can I say, I always have delightful time at this restaurant, Green's absolutely faultless in every way and worth every penny.

I myself always go for the Bangers and Mash which is simply the finest in London, if not the world. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the service, well what can I say, fantastic.

The rest of the staff made it a most comfortable place to sit back and enjoy the ambience of the place and of course the food. Many thanks go to the General Manager Mark Harris, and the Sommelier, Steven Nisbet.

The Proprietor Simon Parker Bowles has done a marvellous job.
