Greenview Restaurant at The Old Thorns Hotel Description
Unusual to find in an hotel but there in the Old Thorns Hotel at Griggs Green is Nippon-Kan, as genuine a Japanese as you could wish. Their speciality is teppanyaki. For this meal you are able to watch its preparation before it is transferred on to the stainless steel plate which is the teppan, there to be cooked in front of you. All this makes for a certain sense of theatre as well as being very flavoursome. House wine at £12.

We have eaten here 4 or 5 times and have never been disappointed. Always wonderfully fresh and flavoursome and beautifully presented. The teppanyaki side of the restaurant makes for great food and excellent theatre. Very friendly and helpful staff. We love this restaurant and would quite happily recommend it to everyone who loves Japanese food.
