The stunning 29 Private Members Club located at the Royal Exchange Square in Glasgow is home to a number of stylish and glamorous bars and clubs and among this nest of hedonistic pleasures, The Grill Room at the Square stands out purely because of the gastronomic delights it offers. Focusing largely on Scottish beef and seafood, this upmarket restaurant weaves together the luxurious surroundings, impeccable service and interesting menu into a delightful combination that few can resist.
A meal there could typically start with dressed Loch Fyne crab and a free range egg, parsley and lemon, and then proceed to any of the tender, juicy, custom grilled steak variations. Other main courses include roast breast of Gressingham duck with rösti potato and foie gras emulsion. Desserts include the delectable chocolate tart with orange sorbet or warm Belgian waffle with toffee fudge ice cream, bananas and maple syrup.

This is a fabulous restaurant in Glasgow serving the best steaks. Excellent service and good value for money - it's definitely worth the wait.

Wow! It was a totally stimulating experience, they have nice smiley staff, stunning decor and excellent food. Five of us ate on a Sunday afternoon with cool live jazz playing unobtrusively in the background. We chose from the set menu and everyone had something different. A little loaf of freshly made bread was cut at the table. If there is to be any criticism, the only dish that did not come up to expectation was the risotto cake, a bit on the large side. Or, I suppose you could skip the starter.
