Chef Paul Bebe believes in 'delivering the highest standard of food from locally sourced produce at the best value', so get set to enjoy modern European dishes that range from starters of Thai spiced crab cake or a warm salad of wood partridge, bacon lardons, apple and damson syrup followed by roasted Goosnargh duck breast with fondant potato, Savoy cabbage and bacon, thyme and port jus or pan-fried sea bass fillet served with king prawns, saffron linguine and tomato sauce.

The Elephant and Castle Bar, which reflects the pub's former name, offers thirsty walkers or friends a chance to sit by the open fire and relax over real ales or a pint and some wholesome food.
