Grove, The Description
The Grove is a delightful and sophisticated restaurant serving modern Mediterranean cuisine in London since 1996. It is an ideal spot where people of good taste can take the weight off their feet and relax, appreciating good food created by culinary artists.
The extensive menu changes twice daily and also offers vegetarian and vegan dishes. Some of the interesting options on the starters section are dishes such as baked brie wrapped in Parma ham with red chard and mizuna leaves and berry coulis, or pheasant and pistachio terrine with toasted ciabatta and homemade chutney. A range of delectable main courses starting from grilled swordfish loin to marinated ostrich steak are to hand. Puddings are as tempting as ever; white chocolate cheesecake and crème brûlée are just some of the options.

This restaurant deservedly has won a number of awards. Recently it was voted Best London Restaurant in a countrywide survey. With a largely organic menu including the wines and a strong Mediterranean influence this restaurant is a must to try. As proof of its success they have recently acquired the Golborne House, now known as the Golborne Grove. They obviously have equally talented people in the kitchen because they are now turning out the quality and value for money that people have come to expect.
