The food at the Groveland Hotel's restaurant is surprisingly good. Groveland is a small gold rush town on the way to Yosemite via highway 120. The locals said the food was great, and believe me, it was. We had a small table by the window and decided to go for appetizers. The spinach, kalamata and goats' cheese pizza was perfect. We then ordered the strip steak and veal Amsterdam. The chef really blew our socks off. We didn't expect such fantastic food in a tiny town. We will definitely make the stop again next time.
