Ha! Ha! Bar and Canteen presents diners with tasty fare in informal and comfortable surroundings. Their food is prepared using high quality, seasonal produce with a focus on sourcing British ingredients. An experience there is not limited to good dishes and service, also on offer are what they call 'tracklements', ingredients used in cooking, and even finished products like chocolate brownies, presented at your table and available for sale.

The menu has something for everyone including the most food savvy diner, with an array of meat, fish and pasta dishes. Although the layout and décor of the twenty-four outlets vary, the open kitchen plan in each location allows diners to see and smell the food they are about to eat.

The chef recommends starting with Gorgonzola stuffed pasta coated in tomato and basil sauce topped with shavings of parmesan, followed by a main course of chicken chorizo with butternut squash on a bed of summer leaves with red pepper, fennel squash and a pomegranate orange sauce.
