REVIEWS OF Hackett's Coffee Bar and Bistro
Jane van Velsen (19 February 2011)
I eat at Hackett's Bistro quite a lot and have to say that I'm never disappointed. I love chef Rich's linguine with king prawns and crab and have to say the panini and fries goes down a treat at lunch times. What I enjoy most is the ambience. It's light and airy but warm too and there's wi-fi! They make good coffee and stock a selection of sweets and cakes that always fill a hole. I'd recommend them.
Ken Moore (27 February 2009)
I’ve just been there tonight - excellent design and comfortably modern layout. The lighting is creative and not intrusive. The food is excellent, the steaks and pizzas are very well cooked. This is the same comment from me and my colleagues. The members of staff are excellent, very helpful and interactive, and friendly. The only draught is Peroni but that’s not a problem with me. There is a good wine list with an average £15 a bottle. The Chablis is good tad more though. Enjoy. Take it as you find it, but worth a try.
