Halepi Description

Well established and very busy Greek-Cypriot restaurant near Hyde Park. The high standard of cooking has not dropped since the establishment opened, and its success is illustrated by the fact that a new minimalist branch has opened in Belsize Park. If you've got a sweet tooth, the syrupy puddings and pastries are something that you'll revel in! Friendly and atmospheric.

I discovered Halepi during my third trip to London. Conveniently located in the Bayswater area, it was an easy walk from the Queensway Tube Stop. We did not have a reservation, it was Saturday night and the restaurant was packed - nevertheless, they found us a nice table and we had the best meal of our entire trip. The Mousakka and the Lamb Kebab were mouth-watering. The Houmus and the Tabouli were so good, we came back 2 nights later and just had appetizers for dinner! Really friendly and fast service.
