I stopped in for hash browns and onions smothered with cheese this summer when passing through. My spouse had the triple stack buttermilk pancakes with a side of bacon. Warning: they are in the country and take what you say literally. Our error, not theirs. They really smothered my potatoes with cheese, but otherwise they were excellent. The pancakes were nine to ten cm’s in diameter - way huge, but tasted great. He received four to five strips of bacon on a side plate and all were about eight to nine cm’s long. Meal was relatively inexpensive and tasted great. Service was excellent and very down-home. Ambiance is also down-home. They have pictures of loggers and logging all around the diner, but after all, they are located in the heart of the Redwoods. We really enjoyed it. For a walk down memory lane and good food for reasonable rates - stop in and have a bite of their good food. They are a coffee shop in a truck stop and have bathrooms, paid showers for travellers and truckers.
