Harris's Restaurant Description
Established over thirty years ago by Roger Harris and his wife Anne, this pleasant little restaurant has a strong reputation for the provision of excellent local ingredients, served in an imaginative and attractive fashion. Most of the fish comes from Newlyn, while local estates provide the game for those tiring of fish, and the desserts are straightforward but attractive.
At lunchtime a light menu is also offered. The restaurant is also open for dinner on Monday in the summer, and for Sunday lunch on Bank Holiday weekends. The wine list is commendable and offers plenty of choice under £20. House wines are French and Chilean, starting at £12.50.

It was a truly beautiful experience, having been recommended by the local coffee house (green bean cafe) we went with my two and seven year olds and at first the look was of oh no but soon after we were welcomed and looked after wonderfully. The food was nothing short of quality and the house red was a great selection and very reasonable, the chef performed great with Cumberland sausage and mash with onion gravy. For us adults the duck was superb with my only criticism being the lack of vegetables – two small new potatoes, and a small mixture of green beans and mange tou. But yes I will return.
