Harry Hare's Restaurant

Harry Hare's Restaurant and Brasserie can be found opposite the lovely Parish Church in the heart of Cirencester. Whilst many of the building's features date back to Roman times, the interior comfortably embraces new ideas and twenty first century comforts.

In the winter, you could sit by a roaring log fire and treat yourself to a glass of wine, while in the summer the garden is a great place to relax in and soak up the sun.

Head Chef Nigel Harding, who ensures meals at Harry Hare's are always enjoyable, heads the kitchen team. Wherever possible, he uses ingredients sourced from local suppliers to create dishes that could range from starters of potted brown shrimps with a rocket watercress salad and Melba toast, to main courses of roast breast of Barbary duck with flageolet beans and braised fennel with Madeira jus, and pan-fried fillets of sea bass served on saffron risotto and bouillabaisse sauce.

Desserts could include a raspberry crème brûlée with almond tuille biscuit and warm treacle tart with hazelnut ice cream.
