Harry's

Harry's English Restaurant was established in 1990 as an alternative to the endless stream of Pasta and Indian restaurants in Hove. It is an independently owned and run family business. The kitchen is run by the owner Harry Lees and chef Claire Nichols, who have both been there since the day the doors opened. They proudly say that were trained by the greatest chefs of the time - their Mums!

As much as possible all ingredients are sourced locally on a daily basis, and the food has a basic honesty to it with dishes such as char-grilled steak, bangers and mash, steak, kidney and mushroom pie and good fresh fish, while daily specials reflect the best seasonal produce. Great care has been taken to ensure the menu appeals to all tastes with vegetarians and children catered for. They have numerous high chairs as well as nappy changing facilities, and state that they are happy to warm any food you have brought in for your little darlings.
