Harry's Bar Description
Tucked away in an old cobbled yard near Cannon Street, Harry's Bar prides itself on the quality of its food, wine and service. Exquisite paintings adorn the walls of its amply lit interiors and simple furnishing makes you feel at home.
An excellent British and modern European menu never fails to deliver. Organic chicken liver and Grand Marnier pate served with toasted brioche and marinated artichoke on a bed of Scottish smoked salmon with dill and lime make good starters. For mains, the pan-fried fillet of monkfish cooked in Prosecco wine, wild fennel and tomato sauce, served with braised rice is a satisfying option. They serve a selection of ice creams, sorbet and cheese platter for desserts. The risottos and pastas are their speciality and try not to miss the bar food offering of light bites, sandwiches, dips and platters. The wine and spirit list includes Armagnac, Calvados and a choice of liqueurs.

We couldn't fault the food but we went on a Monday night, which wasn't busy and found it very difficult to get served as the waiting members of staff were always out of view. We left feeling a little disappointed.
