Hart of Bythorn, The

This relaxed and friendly restaurant, offering both a la carte and bar menus, is located in The White Hart. The menu is Anglo/French based with, in the main, local ingredients being used.

A typical meal might include a prawn and mussel cocktail to start, followed by twice cooked shoulder of lamb with a garlic and rosemary jus served with a crescent of seasonal vegetables, and for dessert sticky toffee pudding with a butterscotch sauce. Their menus change monthly and seasonally so that all the produce at its best for the time of the year.

An interesting wine list, catering for all palates, provides the finishing touches to your meal, while they also have a good range of beers, spirits, liqueurs, brandies and armagnacs. Their beer garden is also now open, along with a private meeting/dining room, which seats up to eight people, and is available for all day meetings or just mornings/afternoons.
