Hat & Feathers Dining Rooms, The Description
A pre-dinner drink on the huge and funky wine terrace is a great way to start the evening in this fully restored period venue. Whilst still retaining the outward appearance of a well established Victorian watering hole, inside it has changed dramatically. The gas lit ground floor bar is charming but the emphasis is undoubtedly on quality dining on the first floor.
The decor is a harmony of Victoriana and modern chic; with the restaurant and the private dining room being classy and restful. Expect to find a delicate beetroot risotto with basil foam and parmesan wafer, a good fillet of beef or guinea fowl with white bean cassoulet to follow and finish with a Baileys bread and butter pudding with vanilla ice cream and sauce anglaise.
