Haz is elegant and sexy in an understated manner that many restaurants try to achieve but don't always pull off so well. At their Plantation Place location, settle down with friends for a cosy lunch or celebrate an occasion with a delightful dinner with family or friends. A maroon coloured wall on one side plays up a wonderful contrast with the sparkling white napery and wooden floors add to the element of sophistication with the lightest rustic touch.

The Greek and Mediterranean inspired menu uses only the freshest ingredients and could feature starters of falafel or sautéed prawns with garlic and tomatoes. Move on to the selection of grilled dishes such as escalope of lamb with oregano, a moussaka layered with minced lamb, aubergine and potatoes, while those who love seafood would not want to miss the tuna steak with chilli sauce. Finally, end with the cinnamon tinged milk pudding or oven baked pears with ice cream. The wine list at Haz is balanced favouring the New and Old World equally.
