Herb & Spice Restaurant Description

Tucked away on Whites Row is a real find of a curry house. With only 22 seats and plenty of hungry diners you'll need to get there early to stake out a seat. The dishes are all freshly prepared which a single mouthful will soon confirm, making no choice a bad choice unless you can't stand the heat. Popadoms with homemade dips are a delight and the chicken tikka second to none, whilst the lamb dishes prove wonderfully tender unlike so many of Herb & Spice's neighbouring restaurants.

It’s highly recommended. While it might not look like much from the outside, the food was uniformly excellent, especially the lamb dishes. Very good value too, about £65 for four heads for everything including starters and lots of drinks. Service was good too. I'd definitely choose the place over some of the bigger Brick Lane curry houses.

Yummy! - one of the best around....always a favourite of ours and only a short walk from the pubs and bars in the city.
