Hill Country Grill is now housed in a building that once belonged to the State Bank and Trust Company, whose gory history, well-laced with a robbery attempt in 1923 may well be a thing of the past. Now all that remains is a plaque outside the front door reminding diners of the infamous act.

So having taken heed, you may just want to start with a safety deposit shrimp, seasoned with their secret recipe, wrapped inside an egg roll and finished with wasabi sauce, or even the dynamite calamari could strike you attention hard, drenched in a spicy batter and served with 'TNT' sauce. The entrées are a touch more familiar with grilled ahi tuna, bacon wrapped stuffed pork and center cut sirloin medallions.

Although the gang sized martini has subtle undertones of the restaurant's past, it's an ideal drink in a super-sized version to share with a group of friends.
