Since August 2001, Hollerbach's Willow Tree Café has done its bit in helping the residents of this historic downtown district experience Gemuetlichkeit and much more.

Before you've made a mental note to expect Wiener schnitzel on the menu, think again, yes, there are schnitzels and more of them in some enticing combinations. Take jaeger for example, you could choose pork tenderloin or chicken breast minus the breading and smothered with sautéed mushrooms and rahm sauce. Then there are the goumet potato pancakes, beef filet with kräuter butter and grilled German meatloaf topped with sunny-side up eggs.

Schunkel Abend evenings read more like a fiesta time where you lock your elbows and rock side-to-side with a German beer in tow and sing along with the crowd.
